The Australian government continues to promote and reward companies that include a form renewable and sustainable energy, such as wind and solar, by providing qualified business with Renewable Energy Certificates (REC). These RECs can be used when purchasing a qualified solar system or solar panels by providing cash back for these qualified purchases.
There is a grant that allows for a tax deduction to businesses that install a commercial solar system. This is in addition to a Feed-in Tariff, which is a set rate that is paid back to Australian business for the energy that that they generate and feedback to their local power grid.
